Mr. Varney's Math Help

Geometry will be different than most math classes you may have taken in the past in that a large part of geometry is devoted to the "why" rather than the "what".  Not that we won't have a lot of problems that deal with fiinding a specific answer, we will just have to logically explain using postulates, theorems, and laws.  We will begin the trimester introducing new vocabulary and creating a common language so we are all on the same page when dealing with these problems.

Each day I will update the calendar with assignments and you can find any notes from that day on the notes page.  If you are absent this will be a great way to not fall too far behind.  I will also put any upcoming quizzes or tests on the calendar. 

I will also post helpful websites and videos that are relevant to what we are covering at the time. Again if you have any questions, dont hesitate to email or call (info is on the home page).
